NEUTRACID is a product that helps neutralize lactic acid and rebalance alkaline substances

• Sodium citrate has a neutralizing effect on lactic acid which accumulates in the blood and muscle tissue.

• The metabolites of citric acid act by rebalancing the alkaline deficiency in case of metabolic acidosis.

• Neutracid, used as an integral part of the diet, helps reduce the incidence of acidosis and dehydration.

• Neutracid helps horses to drink more and consequently increases urination.

• There must be an acid-base balance in the blood. The use of neutracid creates a neutral pH both in the blood and in the muscles, allowing optimal conditions in training.

• It allows horses to be trained and compete at a high level for longer periods.

The accumulation of lactic acid in the blood and muscle tissue can cause muscle stiffness, cramps and damage to the muscle fibers themselves.
This means that the muscles cannot perform their function of contraction and relaxation during exercise.
The muscle tissue then enters a state of prolonged contraction or muscle cramp (tying-up).
Some horses are particularly prone to this (pathological) condition.
In this situation, close control by the coaches becomes essential. A careful nutritional plan and a training strategy significantly reduce or even eliminate the incidence of muscle cramps.

NEUTRACID is a product capable of neutralizing the lactic acid accumulated in the blood and muscle tissue and rebalances the alkaline reserves, making the blood pH return to normal values.

Doses and methods of use
NEUTRACID Must be used as a complementary feed in the daily ration.

Horses in training: 90 ml in the evening ration (or divided into two rations).
After competition: 30 ml extra in the evening ration.
