Indications: Evening primrose oil is, with the exception of breast milk, the only source of biologically active unsaturated fatty acids such as Gamma Linolenic acid; unsaturated essential fatty acids cannot be produced by the body, they must be taken daily with food; the symptoms of a deficiency are represented by: weight loss, dermatosis, coarse and dry hair, hair loss, eczema (especially between the fingers), seborrhea (hyperfunction of the sebaceous glands), scaling, skin allergies, predisposition of the skin to infections, exudative ear infections, increased earwax production, growth disturbances, red blood cell fragility, low fertility, increased birth mortality, irregular oestrus, fetal abnormalities, delayed wound healing, growth disturbances, decreased muscle tone, liver degeneration; a deficiency of essential fatty acids can manifest itself in the following situations: during growth, breastfeeding, in old age, in cases of stress, during a diet rich in sugar, in diabetes, skin allergies, cortisone-based treatments, for a diet rich in rancid or low-protein fats.

Dosage: 2 drops / kg of weight by adding it to the daily food for 2 weeks, then 3 times a week is sufficient.
