      The product

      High concentrations of Omega 3 fatty acids, particularly EPA from fish oil, have been shown to be effective in reducing the progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and in decreasing the risk of kidney-related mortality in CKD-affected dogs and cats.

      kcMEGA3is a product specifically aimed at dogs and cats affected by CKD; contains Omega 3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA in high quantities (each capsule of 500 mg contains 375 mg of EPA and 65 mg of DHA), associated with vitamin E (mixed tocopherols).

      kcMEGA3it is recommended in case of CKD, associated with a renal diet.
      High concentrations of Omega 3 fatty acids are also indicated in the case of cardiovascular disease, due to their antithrombotic, antiarrhythmic and antihypertensive effects.

      How to use

      kcMEGA3should be administered on a daily basis, according to the following dosages:

      • up to 4.5 kg of body weight: 1 cap

      • 4.5-9.0 kg bw: 2 caps

      • 9.0-13.5 kg bw: 3 caps

      • 13.5-18 kg bw: 4 caps

      • over 18.0 kg bw: 5 caps

      Daily dose could be adjusted in accordance with your veterinarian's suggestion.

      Composition of each softgel capsule

      500 mg of purified fish oil with a minimum content of 90% Omega 3 (70% EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and 9% DHA (docosahexaenoic acid))
