Hill's Prescription Diet u / d Urinary Care canned wet dog food is indicated for the dissolution of urate and cystine uroliths and to counteract the formation of urate, oxalate and cystine uroliths. Chronic kidney disease can also be treated with this diet food. It contains only a limited supply of valuable proteins in order to reduce the degradation products that cause discomfort in patients with renal insufficiency. Suitable for:

• dissolution of urate and cystine uroliths
• counteract the formation of uroliths of urate, oxalate and cystine

Contraindicated for:

• cats
• puppies
• pregnant and lactating females
• dogs with struvite urolithiasis
• dogs with hypoalbunemia, hyperlipidaemia or pancreatitis or a history of or risk of pancreatitis
• the first 1-2 weeks after surgery
