Vectra 3D is a veterinary medicine that contains three active substances: dinotefuran, pyriproxyphene and permethrin. It is available as a spot-on solution in applicators in five different strengths, for use in dogs of different weights.

What is Vectra 3D used for?

Vectra 3D is used in dogs for the treatment and prevention of flea and tick infestations. In addition, it has a repellent action against sand flies, mosquitoes and flies. (Stomoxys calcitrans). Its action lasts up to a month and prevents the multiplication of feathers, inhibiting the opening of the eggs and the appearance of adults for two months. It can also be used as part of a strategy to treat flea allergy dermatitis (an allergic reaction to flea bites).

The dose of Vectra 3D depends on the dog's body weight. The content of an entire applicator of Vectra 3D is applied directly to the dog's skin, separating the hair, in one or more points, based on the weight of the dog, or in a continuous line from the base of the tail along the center of the back to the on the shoulder blades. The treatment can be repeated once a month.
