Shampoo for dogs and cats to be used as an adjuvant in the treatment of malassezia dermatitis and dermatosis.

      ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

+ Chlorhexidine 3%: molecule with bactericidal activity used in clinical practice.

+ Climbazole 2%: antifungal agent that reduces the defensive properties of the fungus membrane.

+ Ceramides: lipid substances, fundamental constituents of the lipid barrier of the epidermis.

+ Phytophingosins: lipid compounds, significantly present in the horny layer of the skin of mammals, with anti-inflammatory and bacteriostatic activity.

      EFFECTIVENESS
The 2% chlorhexidine-climbazole association makes Theramicotic exceptional in the management of dermatitis in which an infection by bacteria and yeasts is present at the same time, and the presence of ceramides and phytophingosines allows to preserve or restore the integrity of the superficial lipid film.

      INDICATIONS
Malassezia infection is common in canine dermatology, along with pyoderma.
Like most dermatological diseases it is due to alteration of the most superficial layers of the epidermis which results in a greater ability of bacteria to cause infection and of yeasts to proliferate and irritate the skin.
A double infection often develops and the combined action of Theramicotic molecules allows all microorganisms to be treated without damaging the skin barrier.

      HOW TO USE
Wet the animal's coat, apply evenly a small amount of product, massaging for 5/10 minutes so that the shampoo comes into contact with the skin, then rinse thoroughly.
The frequency of use can vary from 1 to 3 times a week depending on the advice of the veterinarian.
